Biography:
Throughout her career, Monica has thrived in dynamic, high-growth environments and she has played a key role in team building in times of planned expansion. As Vice President of Human Resources, her role is to create HR strategies that touch every stage of the employment life cycle, ensuring Altitude’s growth is both scalable and people centered. With C-suite and practical HR expertise in construction management, the financial sector, and many other high-profile industries, Monica’s corporate experience and business consulting roles have provided her with an exceptional track record. Her experience spans strategic planning, development, implementation, workflow, and communication efficiencies as she helps talented and competent teams to consistently perform at a high level.
Monica is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (BA, Business Communications) the University of California at Irvine (Certificate, HR) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (MA, Industrial and Labor Relations). She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and has held many Board level positions in organizations and constitutional causes throughout the east suburbs of Pittsburgh.
Fun Facts
I am a Pittsburgh native, and I spent three years as a nomad playing ‘Airbnb roulette’ across Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, and beyond- staying in various cities and living with only what fit in my car. I settled in Arizona and I am a proud mom of two sons, currently enjoying concerts, sports, weightlifting, and pickleball.
